June 13th: The Business of Design 2013: Design Thinking
Barnum is on mission to help the entrepreneurial minded transform their inspiration into enterprise. We have built our business around supporting entrepreneurs at early stage startups and intrapreneurs at established companies, by designing business and communication strategies that drive performance. I am honored to be invited to speak along side with some of the most influential voices in design as we work towards influencing business with our processes, insights and way of thinking.
Design is changing how we do business. The emergence of “design thinking” as a problem solving strategy, the specific value of design in entrepreneurial endeavors and the promotion of STEM to STEAM have all shifted the conversation about the Business of Design.
Please join Brown and RISD alumni for an evening panel discussion about the changing landscape of design process, practice and production in the marketplace and beyond.
