My team and I collaborated with a marketing agency to design a digital experience to boost weekend bookings, targeting travelers from around the New York area. We leveraged the history of Algonquin Hotel to speak of an uniquely authentic New Yorker experience.

Algonquin stands proud in the midst of the fast pace lifestyle of the city, sophisticated and dignified. As a New York City establishment with a storied hundred-year history, we were able to channel that authority to tell a story from the perspective of a true New Yorker.
We slipped into our Algonquin state of mind – putting on our top hat and fur coat – venturing through the city to see it from a its perspective. We slowed our pace, looked up to admire the architectural details, people watched while sipping our coffees and discovered hidden treasures that are unknown even to most New Yorkers.
We wove together our experience and findings into a three-act narrative, each exploring a different theme of New York City. The result is an editorial style parallax website that draws the audience into a visual and literary journey of a weekend in New York City through the eyes of Algonquin.
